Classroom
Kia Motors America (KMA) has just joined hands with an online charity that makes it possible for everyone to help students in need. The charity, DonorsChoose.org, was founded in 2000 and since then has helped to secure funding for more than $120 million. Money that has been spent on art supplies, books, technology and everything else students need.

In 2012, just couple of days ago, KMA made a $1 million commitment to public schools. This commitment brought to life the Double Your Impact campaign that has been designed to help fund classroom projects around the entire Kias network in the United States. The network consists of more than 755 retail showrooms, companys U.S. headquarters and also their assembly plant in southwest Georgia.

Public schools near Kias network are invited to post their classroom projects that are in need of funding on www.donorschoose.org. Kia will be matching all donations by citizen philanthropists until the $1 million has been exhausted. The classroom projects that can get funded this way, are requests for music instruments, field trips, books and everything else related. For more information, see the player below and also visit DonorsChoose.org.

"Kia is committed to making a difference and is proud to be the first automotive brand to establish a national philanthropic partnership with DonorsChoose.org to help provide school supplies for children most in need, while supporting all of the communities across the country that we call home, " said Byung Mo Ahn, group president and CEO of KMA.
